Service Description

Saturdays block booking for November, December, Jan, Feb, March, April, May. Little Bees and Butterflies is a new nature workshop which we have designed for young children. Nature is the fundamental element to this workshop. We use nature to teach different activities that your children will love to take part in. There are some educational elements in there too, where children can learn new skills and have fun along the way. We have been very excited about launching this workshop for the children and have spent some time on preparing lesson plans, testing out if activities work and also coming up with ways that activities can be adapted to suit many ages, so siblings can take part during holidays or weekends. Not only is it great for children but the parents/ career's too as you can socialise with others. Children will be given a drink and a snack. (children have to be accompanied by an adult). We have one workshop each month. Dates- Saturday 12th Nov Saturday 10th Dec Saturday 14th Jan Saturday 11th Feb Saturday 11th March Saturday 15th April Saturday at 13th May Each monthly session will have different elements taught and new skills learnt. It will be held in Hawthorn Community Centre 9.30am-11am. Price per session is for one child (e.g. if you bring two children you pay per child). Our aim is to do it all outdoors if we can, but weather at this time of year is as we know it unexpected. We would love it if you can come and explore nature with us! There is also an option to pay per child for the session, or as a block booking (which is cheaper) for 4 consecutive sessions per child. Please note- if your child misses a session, it doesn't roll over to the following months.
