Joanne and Craig's wedding day took place on Saturday 16th November 2019 at As You Like It in Jesmond. The venue is truly unique inside and I loved the mismatched chairs used for the ceremony and the reception. It is an intimate space and the decor is amazingly different.
We first met at a wedding fair. They both then arranged a consultation with me to discuss their wedding flowers. They are such a warm and friendly couple and I knew from their ideas their wedding was going to be EPIC! I was excited by their colour scheme of bright pink, peaches, white and some greenery but mostly flowers!!!
Joanne looked absolutely beautiful in her full floral crown to match her large bridal bouquet. The floral crown sat beautifully with her stunning veil. Her 2 bridesmaids had similar flowered bouquets but smaller to keep the theme throughout. Olivia their daughter who was the cutest little flower girl was adorable in her white dress, fur cape and pink boots!
Joanne and Craig's photographer was RLM Media who captured the day perfectly. Their wedding cake was made by Sherbet Moon, cars were Northumbria classic car hire and the decor was Joanne's own company called Vintage Twist Designs who supply wedding decor. Craig and the groomsmen's buttonholes were a mixture of the selected wedding flowers wrapped in blue velvet ribbon and pearl pins. They matched and complemented the style and look of the flowers perfectly.
For the reception Joanne and Craig opted for loose eucalyptus populus along the centre of the trestle tables which looked rustic and natural.
